Not sure if you want to create a website or start blogging to make money online? Compare Wordpress, XsitePro and Site Build It to help you decide which program would be better for you.

Websites come in all shapes and sizes and each, in their own way, can help you create an original site.

Wordpress blogging software comes two ways;

• Free (wordpress.com) 
• Purchase a hosting plan (wordpress.org) 

Free - You don't own the domain. Paid hosting - Purchase a domain name with webhosting, and by adding this software to your domain, you have complete control over it.

Once your account is active (usually within a few hours) and you've installed wordpress blogging script, you will be able to add affiliate links, advertising, etc., to get you started on making money online.

You can even move your free blog to a paid hosting plan.

Many hosting companies offer quick installation of blogging scripts to put onto your domain. Before buying a plan, see if a quick install is available.

There are hundreds of plugins available; create a Google sitemap, quick install of Google Adsense, hundreds of different templates available, search engine optimization for your blog, and these are just to name a few. Each plugin gives  directions on installing on your blog.

Wordpress software does not analyze each page to verify it is optimized for the search engines nor does it have a place to store your affiliate links (links library).

Xsitepro - This web design software package is purchased for a one time fee.

Xsite pro has many great features; create a sitemap quickly, upload to your hosting account with a click of the mouse, analyze each page for search engine optimization, add Google Adsense and affiliate links quickly to pages, and add video and much more.

Even though you need to purchase web hosting and a domain with Wordpress.org or XSitepro, there are very affordable plans to fit any budget.

Site Build It (SBI)- This all-in-one software program has EVERYTHING you need to help you create a successful website; step by step tutorial, block by block web page builder, keyword and market research, and much more.

If you don't have a website niche idea or know the first thing about building your own website, the SBI 10-day action guide is your step by step tutorial to help you learn the correct way on how to create a successful website.

This website builder is not for everyone. If you want to create a site quickly, this program is not for you as the 10-day action guide has a lot of reading and videos.

The price for Site Build It is a re-occurring yearly fee, so if you are wanting to build multiple sites then you would need to purchase the program for each site.

Final Thoughts

Wordpress may be the cheapest way to go, but if you're looking for long term, Xsite pro or Site Build It gives you more room to grow with less expense in the long run.
