Site Build It Review - Complaints and Success

Everyone has such high regards for Site Build It and I am no different but since I have created two websites using SBI web hosting, I want to give you the good and the complaints of using SBI.

Here is a quick comparison of Site Build It vs Xsite Pro vs Bluevoda.

Site Build It (SBI) Complaints

No HTML Editor Built In

The step by step module for building your pages does not have a tab you can click between HTML and WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get).

Sure you can add HTML into the pages while you are building but if you don't know how to hand code then trying to learn while you are building your web pages can be very frustrating, time consuming and cumbersome.

If you want to use a HTML editor (Dreamweaver, Nvu or Frontpage), Site Build It does give you the step by step review on how to upload pages to your site but I found this very time consuming as I created the page in the other program then had to upload to my SBI site.

If any changes were needed on those pages uploaded, you need to change it first in the program you used to create it and then re-upload it.

Site Build It Cost

The yearly price of SBI is $299.00 per site.

Many people would like to have more than one site, so it can get real expensive.

NOTE: Many times through the year they do offer a special. Even though this is great remember if you buy Site Build It during their promotional offer, when your one year is up you will have to pay full price for both websites.

It would be nice if they would offer a discount if you purchase for more than a year or that the first site is full price but additional ones were discounted.

NOTE: The one thing Site Build It did just start was when you get ready to renew SBI, you can pay monthly if you want.

Must Work Online

Since I was using Xsitepro to help me build my other websites (like this one), I got used to working on my website offline.

For many people this may not be a big deal and I have gotten used to having to login to sitebuildit to build my web pages.

Site Build It Success

SBI doesn't just teach you how to create a website but shows you how to build an online business.

Comparing web hosting companies can be very frustrating for most beginner. It takes time to review so many different hosting plans, so you save time by not having to search all over the Internet for the cheapest web hosting plan.

• You pick the name
• The name is registered to you
• You can transfer the name anywhere you want (but you will lose all the Site Build It tools)

Yes, you can find many website building software programs to help you build your own site but they don't have all the tools built in to the program.

Of course the cost of $299.00 may be a little to expensive for your taste but you can test drive Site Build It free for 30 days.
