2. If you stop writing content on your site, traffic will continue to flow

4. Many more at home businesses are "created" using a website

These are just a few of the differences in using wordpress (or blogger) versus creating a website. Sure these don't look like a lot of differences, but creating a blog first can be more work than what it is worth in the long run. There are many more blogs that are given up on then websites.
